A word that marks the epochs, influences the cultures, distances the religions, divides the nations\u2026 A word that crosses the body, catches the soul, empties the mind, takes the breath away\u2026 A word that evokes destruction, desolation, despair, death\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026 There are many reasons that lead to War\u2026 and we could write about them for a long time\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Religion, culture, territory, resources\u2026 Reasons why the history of humanity has been haunted by the specter of War. Wars often stemming from centuries-old clashes. Clashes that have their roots in the past. Past that evokes ancestral memories. Memories that feed hatred among Peoples. Hatred that gets handed down from father to son!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The War is indeed a concept which is being conveyed to us since we were children\u2026 Don’t start waging War\u2026! You are not at War\u2026! War is fought here\u2026! Here is a War\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As if the War were something primordial, ancestral, atavistic… As if the War were something belonging to our culture, our society, our normality… As if the War were something belonging to our DNA\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And this is why we grow with the specter of something that is being transferred, conveyed, handed down to us. A specter that foments hatred against people we don’t know, places we don’t frequent, generations we don’t meet. A hatred against an invisible, elusive, non-existent enemy. A hatred that feeds endless wars!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2026 and thus\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For millennia we have witnessed wars of religion, wars of secession, wars of liberation, wars of aggression\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each people has its own belief; each people has its own culture; each people has its own territory; each people has its own resources…!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each child is therefore born in a country that carries its own historical and cultural heritage\u2026 Countries where we grow up so that we don’t forget… Countries where the hatred is the basis of culture… Countries where centenary wars are now anachronistic… Countries where the War is instead demonized, condemned, repudiated\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each child is therefore born in a country that has its own reason to fight for\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
