Image of sacredness, purity, candor: for ages venerated as a Mother bearer of hope and reassurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Symbol of fertility, fecundity, prosperity: always recognized as a Giver of life and nourishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emblem of safety, protection, strength: since birth considered as a Place of refuge and comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026 but at the same time\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Demanded! Contended! Kidnapped! Desired as a forbidden fruit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seductress! Enchantress! Charmer! Pointed to as the embodiment of deception!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Witch! Crone! Harpy! Used as a scapegoat for misunderstood evils!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2026 or even worse\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Offended! Mocked! Excluded! Cornered by man-centric society!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Exploited! Segregated! Enslaved! Deemed as a mere personal property!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mistreated! Raped! Killed! Considered as an inferior human being!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2026 and therefore Woman has always had to earn everything\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Divorce! Abortion! Miniskirt! Career! Equality! Respect! And much more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everything that is given to a man almost as a birthright, for a woman is a mission to accomplish, a battle to fight, a war to win, a conquest to celebrate!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The World has indeed changed and it keeps doing it! Or rather, women struggle for making it change!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this reason, enormous strides have been made on women’s rights, but the road is still long\u2026 and often uphill!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, we are still horrified to witness many cases of exclusion, segregation, mistreatment, violence or even murder, which are daily perpetrated against women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately, there are so many cases treated\u2026 so many femicides\u2026 so many countries in question\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2019, there were 1421 victims in Europe: an average of four women a day, one woman every six hours\u2026 and in recent years the trend does not seem to get better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An enormous number\u2026! Absurd\u2026! Disconcerting\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2026 But how is all this possible? Just us who\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Use the image of woman as a personification of nature, of earth, of homeland!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Use allegories spread all over the World, such as: Mother Nature! Mother Earth! Mother Country!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Claim to be the children of women who generated us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Place our future in women we love!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2026 and therefore\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Should consider women for what they are: Stupendous! Wonderful! Splendid! Unique!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2026 or more simply\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
